Volunteers 14–80* are welcome at all THC programs! All volunteers 18+ that desire to work with THC families or youth must submit a volunteer application, liability form, and their consent for a background investigation. Background checks are completed at no cost to the volunteer, and all information will be kept confidential. Volunteers under 18 must submit a volunteer application and a liability form, both signed by a legal guardian, in order to volunteer with THC. You must fill out THC volunteer materials before you can begin volunteering. If you are over 18, you must fill out the background consent form.
*THC has programs and events in need of volunteers of all ages. If you are interested in volunteer opportunities for younger age groups, or for large groups of any age, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) to discuss potential volunteer opportunities.
Please submit volunteer forms by faxing to 202-291-0192 or sending PDF files to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). Once the forms are received, volunteers will be contacted by the Volunteer Coordinator from THC.
